The SealPlate sealing film offer reduced evaporation, spillage, and contamination between wells. This product also features a secure seal, which removes "edge effects" in sensitive ELISA assays. The films can also seal tissue-culture plates for short-term storage, incubation, and containment of biohazards. These can work in a temperature range from -40C to 120C. Nonsterile and non-pierceable. It is sold in a pakc of 100.

General Purpose polypropylene films offer superior barrier properties to minimize evaporation and prevent well-to-well contamination. Ideal for use with polypropylene plates.Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Features good chemical resistance. Provides a very secure seal to minimize evaporation, but is slightly harder to remove than SealPlate films. Less rigid polypropylene film reduces aerosols upon removal. Specially formulated adhesive minimizes plate residue. Can be used as a temporary seal while awaiting further processing.

X-Punch™ pierceable sealing film is designed for short-term processing and storage of samples that require multiple access to wells by pipet tips or robotic probes. A pre-cut “X” over each well creates bendable flaps that provide sample access without coring or adhesive fouling of tips or probes. X-Punch has printed circles aid in the alignment of the film to the plate. It also has printed alphanumerics identify each well of a 96-well plate. It is piercable and reseals after piercing for continued sample protection.

Universal fit for all plate types (e.g. flat-top, raised-rim and non-skirted); the smaller dimensions and rounded corners result in no plate overhang for robotics applications. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Pierceable with a pipet tip or robotic probe for direct sample recovery. 2.0mil aluminum foil removes easily without shredding or tearing. The conformable nature of foil allows for the visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Not recommended for long-term storage.

Multi-Seal™ Multilayer Polyethylene Sealing Film consisting of a top pierceable clear polyethylene film and a white polypropylene sublayer with 96 circular areas void of adhesive. The white sublayer aids in the alignment of the film to the plate; alignment of opposing corner wells ensures that all 96 wells will be properly aligned. The adhesive-free zones are 9mm on center to facilitate multi-channel pipetting without adhesive fouling of pipet tips or robotic probes. Offers excellent chemical resistance and is pierccable. Samples have minimal contact with adhesive due to the adhesive-free zones.
